How do you know that the people you refer are “illegal” immigrants. If you read the 14th Amendment all “persons” on American soil are entitled to due diligence. People seeking asylum are not illegally in the country. READ THE CONSTITUTION.
Why do they ask for identification, Birth Certificate, where you are from, and take citizenship test. The way they get that is to apply for citizenship, and they are checked to see if they are criminals, their family members are criminals. Where they will go. Why they seek or want to be here. Legal to do that. Criminals may be legally on the land, but their actions bar them from being a citizen. At some point, the country can only hold and take care of so many people. The citizen has taken the steps to be a citizen. Whether they are born here, etc. If every country just let every and anyone in, system would be overrun. That is what is happening. Putting the citizens in danger, overrunning resources, and using money that people worked and paid into, to help the country and its legal citizen’s. People that come here and destroy the country, should be put in jail, deported if not a citizen. People awaiting should be held in their country if it is safe. If not, a neutral place. You can disagree or agree.
