I know many people that have Liberal Arts degrees that make a little over what a manager at McDonalds makes. In fact most make less than that and their wages hover a little higher than minimum wage. Plus they are paying student loans and whining about that loan when they made that choice. Its not anybody elses problem but theirs that they themselves created. Why should anybody else have to absorb their mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, the trick is not to have them be big ones. Instead of whining about not being able to get these loans they ought to look at this as a gift that will save them in the long run. That is of course if they arent stupid again and make another huge mistake. Get a trade!!!!!
If a young person just coming out of High School today should consider a Trade School education and learn a useful skill. They would be working at a job that gives them a living wage.
Sixty years ago a Professional Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering of any kind was a reasonable reason to go to College & Universities. Trade School education was popular also as it still is today. Also no one went bankrupt with Student Loans in the 1960’s and 1970’s. My Pharmacy and Medical School Education cost me under $100 thousand combined between 1965 & 1976. The last 40 years has destroyed the value of the US Dollar.
Today only the corrupt indoctrination centers called Colleges & Universities and the Student Loan Companies are making out financially.
Capping Student Loan Interest Rates below the Inflation Rate no longer make Student Loans profitable. College & University Tuition is ridiculously inflated and College Professors are greatly over payed because they don’t teach useful subjects but they do teach Communism and DEI which is Anti-American in my humble opinion.
The Globalists are behind the Communist & Islamic Jihadist Agenda in America.
Joining the military is another option. They learn a trade after basic training, self-discipline, and they can go to college or other training after their enlistment period is completed. So many good, positive things to be had in exchange for four years serving their country!
