Seems to me he must be Ukrainian and had no proof that he had served. The Ukraine is in the fight of it’s life. Most people do not know that here was the place the Nazis and Russians fought most of their battles in WW2. Also that Stalin starved between 3 and 5 million Ukrainians in the 1920s (never have been able to get a solid total). Then he deported the eastern half of the country to Siberia and replaced then with Russian farmers.
Not that Zaleski is without fault. Billions of dollars are unaccountable and as mentioned no opposition party, etc is tolerated.
