Of course she does. That’s this entire generations mentality. Blame everyone else for their problems and play the victim… They could completely disappear from the face of the earth and they would not be missed at all…..
I am amazed at kids now days. Jobs like these are meant to be a stepping stone to get a better job with experience or schooling, not to be a lifetime career. Most jobs like these are for high schoolers that want to make spending money. When they whine about wages and benefits they need to be increasing their value not expect it to be given to them. They did that with burger joints and now there is a couple people working, cooking, and all the rest are either cut back or not there because of computer automation. Nobody wants to pay 20 bucks for a burger to accomodate their choices in life.
How many ways can you make a cup of coffee?? I feel sorry for the ignorant younger generation. Really stupid people. How about you morons buy out starbucks, then you’ll figure it out from there. Me, I do not drink starbucks anything since you would not ship coffee to our troops in Afghanistan, which they were paying for and starbucks would not send it. F off, never in my lifetime will I buy a starbucks coffee.
I’m very proud of my daughter. She dropped out of school ,got her GED,went to work at Starbucks because it was close to her house and took advantage of the education benefits offed at Starbucks and got her degree from ASU and became a 5 th grade teacher. She knew Starbucks was a stepping stone to get where she wanted to be. I’m a very proud dad. Unfortunately people she worked with think slinging coffee is a career and aren’t intelligent enough to understand that it’s not.
The last 2 generations have work ethic problem. The Welfare Entitlement Idea of the last 50 years really does not work in the real world. Get a useful skill like a trade that produces a useful product or service and work hard at it. Eventually you will make a gainful living. It has been done for decades. In 1965 when I was 20 it served me for the next 50 years. These young people need to grow up.
I make my own coffee but if I were to buy out I would go to McDonalds or any other fast food joint. They have much better coffee and the atmosphere is better without all the freaks hanging out there. However this video does make me want to patronize Starbucks to stand in solidarity with the workers who still want to work.

You are right on point. Exactly my thoughts.

$15/hr is still twice the minimum wage. She has a job and some are unemployed so she should be grateful.
