Leftist reasoning: if everyone turns their AC off then there will be enough electricity for everyone to turn their AC on. Here is a thought, since power demand is going to keep increasing it would be prudent to start building new power plants now. So what are the powers that be thinking unless having the people under their thumbs is their plan which sounds a lot like communism.
That goddamn Cuomo closed all the coal fired power plants in NYS, including the Indian Point nuclear plant. Cuckoo Kathy Hochul could order the plants to reopen, but she won’t. She could order the coal fired power plants to be converted to natural gas, but she won’t do that either. Instead, NY City is buying a substantial amount of electricity from Quebec. That makes no sense at all. Cuckoo Kat thinks all our power can come from solar farms and humongous, inefficient, bird-killing windmills.
I’m sorry but it’s hard to feel sorry for New Yorkers. This is what you asked for in the voting booth. Enjoy your new copmmunist world.
