Benny, people who are on SSI don’t pay taxes because we paid them when we worked. We are tired of being overlooked by people like you that aren’t affected by the rising prices on everything we buy. We receive a cola increase in January of 2.8% which in my case is only $77.00 a month or $19.25 a week or, just short of a whooping .50 an hr. We need this $2000.00 just to survive so please, keep your comments to yourself, you’re not helping our situation at all.
