As with anything, practice makes perfect. With firearms, the volume of rounds fired isn’t as important as making sure that those rounds fired are done with the purpose of improving your skill-set with that firearm. Life doesn’t imitate art — it ain’t a movie or TV. There are no ‘retakes’ on the street. Proficiency with your firearm can literally mean life or death in a life-threatening situation.
