If the organization that Charlie helped build had anything to do with his death, then it wasn’t really the organization that Charlie helped build, but something else entirely. Americans have every right to ask questions, and if anyone finds that uncomfortable, perhaps a move to a place without free speech would suit them better. Anyone can claim to be a “person of God”, but people have been known to lie. And organizations claiming to be totally benevolent have been known to be fronts for all sorts of nefarious activities. Is any of this true about Kirk’s widow or the organization that she now fronts? I have no idea, but we have every right to ask that question, particularly with the number of inconsistencies in the various stories they’ve told. I lose a lot more respect for a conservative who chooses to hide in a dark corner, afraid of what the light might reveal, than for one who tries to find that light to begin with.

I always go with how I feel in my heart. The thing that makes me cringe, that makes me so uncomfortable is the video of Erika kissing Charlie’s hand in his coffin. Who would set up a video like that?!? Who would say, lets take a camera and video me speaking to my dead husband in his coffin. It seems so creepy and self serving. Even if you wanted to capture that for whatever reason, for your children, WHY POST IT FOR EVERYONE ??? Everything will come out in the trial I’m sure. But that video was just wrong to me.
I agree with you, so much of the shooting aftermath seemed totally orchestrated to the point of nausea. There are just too many things in this whole situation that don’t add up, yet the conservative talking heads are telling us to cool it and stop asking questions, like the good little Zionists that they are. Whether his wife has any knowledge of the truth about her husband’s murder or not I don’t pretend to know. If she does, I’m quite sure that, at the least, she’s been adequately warned to keep her mouth shut if she values the lives of her family. Worst case scenario is that she was complicit in his demise. But regardless, I feel quite sure that there are others who were involved in plotting and carrying out this murder, and I find the official lone gunman explanation to be far from believable. However, I must say that I don’t share your optimism that everything will come out in the trial. The government appears to be involved to some degree, so the trial will be a total sham. I suspect that evidence has already been destroyed that might conflict with their narrative. The only way we’ll ever get even a glimpse of the truth is through the work of people like Owens. The fact that there is so much conservative hate being directed at her is a clear indication that she is getting too close to something that they don’t want revealed. The republican party is just as much an enemy of the American people as is the democratic party, and we should see them both for what they really are – the antithesis of free speech.
