The illegal alien that killed 3 in Florida in August failed the CDL test 10 times in 2 months before he got his license. Nowhere does it say that he did actually pass the test eventually though. I think there might have been another fatality after that but I’m not sure.
Now this avoidable tragedy that killed 3 senselessly by another illegal.
Three Republican senators have introduced a new piece of legislation that would, if signed into law, expressly prohibit states from granting commercial driver’s licenses to people from other countries in the U.s. without proper documentation. That’s a step in the right direction but 3 things come to mind: Why wasn’t this already a law before any fatalities? Why wasn’t this introduced right after the fatality in FL in August? I wonder how many Dems will vote against it – an infringement on the rights of an illegal? There had better not be a single Republican that votes no! Also, no one should be given 10 chances to pass the test. It should be no more than twice. That needs to be added in.
CA, the DMV, the governor, L.A. mayor and anyone else that should be included needs to have the crap sued out of them for negligence, murder, incompetence, stupidity, failure to protect the public at large and anything else that’s applicable. The poor family’s that are affected need to file a class-action lawsuit and sue them into oblivion. On top of that, the driver was high and he never even applied his brakes while driving the wrong way! What could possibly go wrong? He was charged with manslaughter – (should be murder) and also with driving while intoxicated on drugs. These senseless acts were totally avoidable, starting with the issuance of the CDL! In this most recent crash, the family lived in Ontario, CA and the crash happened on Interstate 10. Ontario is about 10 miles from one of my sister’s house in Rancho Cucamonga! She also drives I10 frequently. I’m very angry because this continues to happen because of the enablers. When’s the next time? This sounds heartless but, why can’t this ever happen to one of their own? OK, I’m kinda done venting, until the next time.
