80% of football is either a guy running 2 yards and getting jumped on by 4 opposition players or a pass that was poorly thrown or dropped or a penalty voiding the entire play. Getting to be hardly worth my time. Yes there are exciting plays- great throws, great runs, great catches or great defensive plays. All of those plays are lucky to be 20% of your time which you have to endure advertisements after advertisements- most pretty bad. Baseball is more exciting. Basketball is more exciting. Hockey is more exciting. And ( parish the thought), so is soccer.
This is our new National Pastime? Considering the salary of the Commissioner of the NFL’s salary – which in 2022 was $63.9 Million and the politics of the NFL – DEI, WOKE and boardering on anti-American, the whole deal is not worth it.
Who can afford to go to these high priced games!!?? They should be paying me to go to these games. They have all the money! Just look at what a Jersey cost. And how about parking or concessions.
