Get rid of teacher’s unions. Horrible teachers are shielded by the unions.
I think people who think killing or having someone an American is wrong. I accept the penalty but only through due process. Cheering, celebrating or advocating the death of an innocent person is heinous. I certainly would not like working with such evil people.
I agree that the school was right in terminating her. My only hope is that they put a note in her file so some other school ends up hiring her!!

My daughter is a Special Needs Teacher- a truly lovely person as are the great majority of school teachers–what dedication they have for their calling–teaching children and some not well-behaved–day in and day out, year after year. We need to be even more thankful to these good teachers for their dedication.
I agree, Mari, many are wonderful teachers who go above and beyond, whose patience is amazing.
Unfortunately, unions taking over have protected the inept, criminal element who are giving the rest of our wonderful teachers a bad name like the one here who thought she would get away with “murder”. Good for the school!!
As a former educator, I remember the unions bullying the great teachers who went above and beyond, whose students improved, behaved well, and blossomed. It’s a sad environment for teachers like your daughter. We are grateful for her and am sure her students are, too.
