“Outrage” is not what’s causing people to drop out of college – it’s a side-effect caused by high tuition (and fees), a rather predatory college-loan administration, and the Trump administration’s apparent conviction poor people don’t need to think and that education is evil and should therefore only be available to rich people.
In other words, as usual, your headline doesn’t make sense and is designed only to make reactionary so-called “conservatives” mock things they don’t understand, such as the need to keep a roof over your head while studying.
What a crock! The education these “outraged” students get is 4 years of gender studies, diversity studies and similar nonsense. They certainly aren’t STEM students! Moreover there is a massive shortage of people in the skilled trades! We need welders, machinists, electricians, plumbers, and etc!
Trump is trying to prevent outrageous costs to obtain degrees that in no way can pay for the loan and still enable a living situation. Loans of over $100,000 to become a hairdresser is ridiculous. These are the people begging for loan forgiveness. In many cases, student loans include apartment rent, car payments and vacation between semesters. Its about time to add a note of stability to the student loan business. Trump is right
My daughter an RN looked into the details. Note the $100k limit is for “Graduate” degrees. The limits are intended to limit what colleges will attempt to charge for graduate programs. Leaving these higher debt limits to MD’s and Lawyers (those that really can’t make a living, until they get the MD or JD degrees). I’m sure this is tough to understand for an in-debt jobless graduate student in Gender Studies, but the Trump Admin. is protecting you from yourself.

Exactly right 👍
Most of these kids go to college to get above normal earnings for a do nothing job!
But those jobs aren’t sit on your ass and do nothing productive jobs!
Let ’em drop out. Who cares? I certainly don’t.

Just more crap for them to whine about
the rest of their lives
that’s all

Considering the “participants”, there is no downside to this…..
Try going to a trade school WHILE WORKING AT A JOB. You help pay your way and learn a valuable skill at the same time — what a novel idea!
Why are colleges charging so much? Because they CAN!
