Why was he resisting? Why did he attend a riot? Going against Federal authorities is the same as going against your employer if you work for a Federal Branch (Veterans Administration). This guy packing a 9MM with 2 full magazines wasn’t lost on his way to a High School Football Game. He was a loose cannon! And he knew if that pistol popped up, he was going to lose his job. Maybe the reason he carried no “Concealed Carry” or other documents? I just hope he took a toe-tag with him? This guy’s porch light wasn’t on.

True he should not have gone to this demonstration with a gun. Foolish move even though he had a legal permit. Still this does not make him guilty. The ICE men as they are called need to follow the law and not shoot unless in defense of their own safety. The ICE shooter needs to go to trial and defend himself.

Pretti was a raging lunatic looking for a fight. Look how many officers it took to hold him down. Did Pretti reach for his gun that wasn’t there? Yes. Did the officer know the gun was removed? What antagonist brings a gun to a protest unless you plan on using it?

Regardless of whether the shooting was justified, the administration is not handling this or the Good shooting correctly. The officers should have been placed on administrative leave immediately, there should be an investigation that includes local law enforcement, and the entire process should be transparent, with new procedures to ensure that these shootings don’t happen again. Instead, the administration is telling us to ignore the video evidence and accept their position, local law enforcement is being frozen out, and the officer who shot Pretti is back at work. Imagine if this had happened during the Biden administration. The same people saying “why did he bring a gun” would be screaming “second amendment rights.”

I agree 100% ! These protesters deserve EVERYTHING they get. Taking a loaded gun to a protest and getting into it with ICE. I’m glad he’s dead as well. Looks to me like he was trying to shoot ICE.
This is much like the fog of war. It is impossible to know what was said, what was hear. Additionally, the ICE agent is not trained in crowd control. They were doing a job that the local police or state troopers should have been doing. What a shame so many egos and ulterior motives are also clouding this tragedy. No winners. Many losers.

Okay everyone. The video is now out showing PRETTI the week before attacking an ICE Vehicle and busting the rear taillight out of it! So he was DESTROYING FEDERAL PROPERTY and DISRUPTING Federal Law Enforcement in the performance of their jobs.
