Biblically, “Cast your pearls before swine,”& you invite swine: Hand out your best to offer those who just come to it for free, w/o a returning fidelity, positive regard for you/your country, do not become tax payers, & maybe even steal from/harm you/your country, & you invited swine to live amongst you & you’ll be continually “responsible” for maintaining them. In some places, they’ve even been elected to our government, & continue to damn us, while wallowing in the riches given them. They will degrade you/your country in how you live, how you manage your own financial & social well-being. But, it’s “OK” for the Dems b/c all they care about is FVOA… Future Voters of America.” For 100 yrs they fought Civil Rights for Blacks, until they turned a vast population of Blacks into a voting plantation through LBJs Democrat Great Society. Now, finally over 60 yrs later, Blacks abandon Dems in droves, b/c they increasingly feel more mainstream/capitalistic rather than hyphenated Americans, bought & paid for welfare pawns that Dems attempted to make/keep them. Like most, they want to have a job, even a “starter,” to be able to prove themselves & “work up” into the American Dream. Illegals undercut those opportunities. Blacks rebel. In desperation, where do the Dems turn? To an imported illegal population, probably even more “beholden” to them than past generations of LEGAL immigrants, & certainly more than our present Black populations of conservative, independent, wealth-seeking Americans. I think there’s also other pressures in both the White & Black communities in blended families. I’d address untoward racial comments in my classroom (both for Whites, Blacks, or Asians, others) with, “You can’t comment. You don’t know who lives at home with ANY of your classmates.” When I was accused of being “racist” (maybe b/c I changed seating due to disruption), I’d say, “Yes, I am a “racist” in the truest sense: I AM FOR THE HUMAN RACE.” A best teaching moment was when I was accused of being prejudiced against a boy w/red hair (low grades, poor behaviors) & I showed up to the requested parent/teacher meeting, with my red hair. Parent “folded” & left immediately. Case closed, at least that day, for a perceived “red-hair hatred.” Pretty sure it’ll raise it’s redhead to live again another day if it becomes “useful”for this parent & child. People demand special “treatment” when motivation & achievement are not pursuant. Epic fail for our country & ultimately for the people who seek an “easy way out.” In the end, it doesn’t pay them, nor our country.

jomama, you’re right. Illegal aliens are getting perks and benefits that American citizens do not and cannot get. If I went to NY City, would I get a free hotel room, free food, free healthcare and free money in the form of a prepaid debit card? Not gonna happen.
