If Smith pleads the 5th to tangible charges without trying to defend himself, he’s ceding his freedom. It can’t just hang in limbo. Hopefully others will come forward and testify against him to save their own a**es. He’s guilty whether he admits it or not. He’s not acting so arrogant now is he?
