Every time I donate to Hospice or Salvation Army, I go in and have a look around hoping for a doodad worth a thousand bucks on Antique Roadshow. I just end up buying a cool name brand sweatshirt or sweater that looks never worn. Even after several washings and dousing in fragrances and Downey etc., it still has “that smell”. What IS that smell? Hits me in the face whenever I walk in and funks up my car until I get it home to wash. Quite often I take it back in a couple of weeks to start the cycle all over again. Just can’t pass up a bargain and a sucker for a cheap name brand.
Now I’m not around them 24/7 but we are friends with several black couples and singles that have never acted like this in public
